Wolf Link stands before Epona. She raises a hoof and yells "WOLF!"

Wolf Link is concerned. "Epona, it's me, Link! I got turned into a wolf."

Epona leans her head closer to Link. "Oh no! This is awful! You must find a way to return human, and SOON!". Link replies: "I am working on it. But .. we can talk to each other now! Don't you like that?"

Epona pouts. Her eyes big and glossy with tears "but... How will you give me neck rubs and ear scratches?". Wolf link looks at his clawed paws "oh right..."

Possibly the first time I draw wolf Link?
I've been thinking about how Epona's only response to Wolf Link is always "please turn human again". She's DESPERATE.

OH MY GOD SAME!!! the smell of older books + the age on the pages.... honestly it was such a god tier combo, you knew it was gonna be a good read 🥺 i remember way back when picture book pages had a certain smell to them too!!
