This page I’ve been thumbnailing really speaks to me…I hope it captures the themes of the story well for the audience. How do you represent vampiric transformation and decay over time? For me it’s all about apple imagery! From freshly bitten…to slowly decaying…

I’ve been reworking my upcoming vampire comic once again and hoping to debut it soon! It’s still a story of trauma, grief and vampires and I can’t wait to share it all with you soon!

Tyranny from critical role campaign 4 is kneeling with one hand to her face and the other over her knee. She wears a green and white dress and has two tall horns and a tail with a heart shape at the end. She also have piercing in her long ears and hooves under her dress.

The mental image of Tyranny sitting on Wick like a sleep paralysis demon will always be one of my fave moments. Tyranny is such a delight to draw and I can’t wait to see more of her in the future!

Updated list of shows I’ll be at! So excited to add two comic shows to my list, TCAF was my absolute favorite show last year and I’m so excited to be back! This will also be my first PCF so I’m excited to bring my comics outside of Alberta!

I totally feel that struggle! Comics are such a hard sell at cons and artists are doing their best! On average I sell maybe 5 books haha. It’s tough out there but it does make the customers who buy comics mean even more. It’s good to know that there are people out there who do want to take a chance!

In 1996 Skydancers created an animated series that I loved as a kid. It’s not as well known but to me it shaped my art style for sure!

My personal favourite was Jade! A perfectionist ballerina who strives to be the greatest. As I’ve grown I’ve realized how much we are alike even to this day.
