Just a quick sketch today...
The motif was inspired by a dear friend who sent me an unexpected and beautiful present. There will probably be more witchy stuff in the near future as I will try to establish a new drawing routine.

Our storyteller Freddy gifted my character Psy with meeting the first person she killed after becoming a vampire.
After all these years, I still adore this hobby - and this game in particular.

2025 held a lot of challenges, especially concerning my health, and I loved all the new things I dared. I can proudly say that my comfort zone was left behind time and time again.
The picture was inspired by a windy hill top I walked over with a fellow witch.

Yesterday, I discovered a website with prompt fotos. I found a rhinoceros and fell in love with the wrinkly texture of their face.
It is very freeing to go "that is enough to get going". During the creating, the sun sank dramatically.

This is a spontaneous motif that developed as I went along. The horns are based on a picture of a capricorn and the face very loosely on Damiano David bc I just love his nose.
This year's overall theme for me is exploring outside comfort zones plus sadly several health issues that force me to adjust my expectations time and time again. I also went on many adventures, met awesome people (old and new) and lived a lot. I will happily tell you about it in person.

I am struggling with the upcoming elections and the fear of a new Nazi regime rising in Germany.
The last weeks, I was more in my anger.
This week, I feel the fear.
I am on my way back home from a candle circle in front of the cathedral. It felt good see other people who want similar things.

My heart and mind are thoroughly blown (away? apart? up? who can say) and I will unpack my adventures once I am back home.

I spent the rest of the week in London with a dear friend and co-player which was an awesome way to surf the Bleed and also get more input around my experiences.
I played an awesome very emotionally intense larp in Bedford last weekend (A Place of Greater Safety by Laura Woods and @mo-holkar.bsky.social , aka Larps on Location).
It's a Hopepunk game about a group of queer and/or neurodivergent people rebuilding after fleeing a totalitarian cis-het-system.
Nighttime outside the larp location. Dark trees and the night sky surround a small former church with warm light inside.
A week of UK is ending - I am writing this from the airport, waiting for my flight home.
A week that I will think about a lot in the months to come and whose impacts will reveal themselves over time.
