Yummy colors

The other thing I hate is seeing teenage artists chasing attention and followers online as soon as they start making art.
They feel pressured into making their art a product right away without getting a few years of messing around on their own. Truly sad and disgusting to see.

This legit made me feel bad about being a slow artist until it clicked recently that:
1-Art does take time and effort, the creators just usually don't share the boring or tedious parts because it's often not interesting enough for the non artists
2-Most creators are burned out as heck

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.

-Mentally preparing myself to color in watercolor (a medium I haven't used seriously in years) on really fancy paper
