Trump can only wish he was as good a president as Carter—and 1/10th as good a human being.
What could possibly go wrong.
"A man free of patriarchy is a man who has found not only every woman's humanity, but one who has at last discovered his own. The actual path to liberation for lonely men is feminism—because pursuing an identity based on dominating others is self-isolating."

I know it sounds crazy, but: Have you considered inviting Tucker Carlson on your show?
www.mediaite.com/media/news/i...
Carlson continues: “In real ways…millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now….I do think it’s…a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. We’ll be tormented by it for a long time — I will be. And I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people.”
Good for him.

Something I never expected to write: Good words from Tucker Carlson:
“‘…I and everyone else who supported him…we’re implicated in this for sure,’ Tucker Carlson said. ‘It’s not enough to say, “Well, I changed my mind” or “Oh, this is bad. I’m out.”
I want this car!
If you tax them enough, the worst will move to another country.
And, more importantly, if their residency status changes, their donations to (purchases of) politicians & political parties can be categorized as foreign election interference.
Your question answers itself.
The postcard campaign would mainly be a mail-in to the White House, with us each writing a personal note on the back.
Reporters can then ask, over & over, how many postcards have been received to date.
& if they can get pictures of the bags being delivered.
Etc. etc.
How do we do this? We need, I think, 2 things to start:
- a hashtag
- a postcard
My hashtag suggestion:
#JCPOA-2.0
My postcard suggestion:
Any image will do—or perhaps no image at all—but I suggest the text be prominent & read:
THANK-YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR REJOINING THE JCPOA!!!
www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-...
However & whenever this stupid war ends, the “deal” will certainly be compared & contrasted to the JCPOA.
Obama will probably be too classy to point this out, but we don’t have to be.
Let’s get ready now to remind Trump of this at every opportunity.
Beautifully said.

Trump is so easy to read.
He denies being “under pressure” to make a deal, which a sure sign he feels under pressure to make a deal.
Trump set a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz-after cursing at and threatening Iran for closing the passageway-then had the navy seize a ship
And again threatened them with war crimes-while concurrently sending a team of negotiators to engage Iran in peace talks
These acts are irrational and insane
What, as opposed to a “hinged lunatic”?

On the right is someone NFL doctors say is 6’3, 230 lbs with 5% body fat
On the left is someone White House doctors say is 6’3, 224 lbs with 4.8% body fat
If the White House is THAT dishonest about something so clear, why should we believe anything they say about anything?
…kleptocracy.
- He lost in an election in which:
1: He used his control of the media to tilt the playing field, primarily by denying media access to his opponent.
2: Votes appear to have been accurately counted.
3: He acknowledged he lost.
4: He stepped down.
What word would you use for him?
@milkepescs.bsky.social
Listened to your opinion that Orban was not a dictator or an autocrat.
Ok, fine. What would you call him?
Let’s first agree on some realities:
- He attempted to control as many public institutions in Hungary as possible.
- He oversaw a pervasive culture of corruption &…

Not all international laws are equal in their enforceability.
What international law codes has the US signed on to that are (a) applicable to destroying bridges & power plants & (b) can be adjudicated in a court of which the US is a member?
1 or more of the Geneva Conventions?
Just wondering:
Not all international laws are equal in their power.
What international law codes has the US signed on to that are (a) applicable to destroying bridges & power plants & (b) can be adjudicated in a court of which the US is a member?
Is it 1 or more of the Geneva Conventions?

This is foolish & counterproductive.
(& of course, this only 1 example of many)
I think I would say it is a real problem. Language is, in part, a social signal that the speaker uses to present themselves as a member of a class or cohort.
When the audience you are speaking to uses “prisoner” or “inmate” and you use “Justice involved population”, the speaker is signalling a…
