Apparently there's a character reveal post-credits in the SMG movie. I know who it is. I can't see this movie until it comes to home video. Anyone have a link to a screenshot or something of what the character looks like?
A fusion of Harley Quinn and Spider-Gwen characters.

The second coming of Amalgam! Lineart is gorgeous! Colors are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this!!! 😍
Pictures of moogles is what we call pomography.
Come on, this isn't remotely true.
Incredible collection. Ridiculously basic box art. What a bummer.
I own a couple of incredibly high quality Destiny 2 raid jackets, but I can't help but wish that I had something of similar quality that was FFXIV themed. Like a proper jacket that evoked the aesthetics of a Bard; not a cosplay re-creation but a proper jacket designed for every day wear.
I never call my reps about anything. *Anything*. I called today.
Huge buff, gruff dude.
“Hi.”
“…”
“I’m Daisy.”
Delighted to announce that People of Note, our Musical RPG, is now released! Sadly my musical score is not quite ready to release, as there's over 5 hours of music to sort through and compile, so I've been diligently prepping it to follow.

The next GSM is going to be Animal Crossing vs Assassin’s Creed. What are the 3 *most distinct* Animal Crossing OSTs? Like the ones with the least crossover?
The house system is a core problem and ought to be dismantled by the end of the series. Instead, status quo is maintained, and Harry even assures his son that whatever gender he gets assigned, even if it’s the blood purist bad guy gender, he just needs to embrace it.
The sorting hat is literally assigning gender. The houses are gender. Nobody gets to choose, and they certainly can’t transfer to a different house. Nobody gets to figure out later in life that they were a hufflepuff all along.
Nobody told the AIs that you're not supposed to put spaces around emdashes.
This is brilliant hahaha
The premise hints at subverting the classic Hero/DemonKing conflict by making heroes criminals, but it ends there. This one feels original. It feels more like it’s telling its own story rather than trying to subvert any expectations you might have.
Fantasy anime is absolutely drowning in variations of the same show over and over again. Isekai. Reincarnation. Kicked out of the party. Harem. LitRPG. Villainess. Dozens of combinations of any of these genres. It’s rare to get a Dungeon Meshi or a Frieren. Sentenced Hero is one of those.
I read a lot of manga, and a lot of manga I read is the aforementioned faff; it’s comfort food. But i can blow through that stuff very quickly. Watching an anime requires a defined block of time, so I’ve gotta be more discerning.
To say nothing of the fact that Mario operates deeply in the jazz space; bebop, swing, rag, bossa nova, etc., and yet the whole thing is just boringly orchestral. Also how do you do a Mario movie soundtrack without *any* chiptune?!
I’ve watched this movie far too much (my son loves it) and it’s such a massive miss across the board with the music. The licensed stuff and Jack Black bits are the most egregious, but the score also falls short! It’s so rapid fire with the quoting and relies on entirely original motifs. WHY?!
"Sentenced to Be a Hero" blew my mind. Phenomenal fantasy show in a sea of rote isekai faff.
It’s actually fine that video games are $70.
Miss you guys.
I would love to, but the kids are still small! I'll check the dates, see if it's possible.
People gotta chill with the anger though. It's not *that* serious.
I'm not trying to be a purist about Mario-lore or anything, I only really watched the first movie because my son loves it. But there's an appeal to something just being *that thing* and not being part of something bigger.
Beyond Smash, which is basically a fucking salad bowl of a video game, how are Mario and Fox, in fiction, related to each other at all? I think folks are just dreading the implications of crossovers, which personally have always felt diluting.
Is it UNIVERSE fatigue? Marvel's first decade achieved something unimaginable, but I think people are just fed up with being subjected to this constant messy interconnectedness. Like real talk? Fox McCloud, of all people, is a weird pull on his own for the second Mario movie.
LETS GO JIIIIILLL!!!!
