*this is not just teaching! I’m commenting more on the expectation of society/ we put on ourselves to be all the things all the time and it’s just so hard to keep all balls juggling - career, parenting, life etc

It’s hard. Yes, you have the holidays but what about the drops/pickups, the assemblies and school events you can’t attend or getting home to help your YR child with reading but they’re too tired because it’s so late. It’s a constant feeling of guilt. You love your job but you love your family too

This sounds really interesting for the sector. One l’ll be watching closely.

Went to the cinema (A Complete Unknown is v.good) and was served by ex-pupil who remembered our Much Ado lessons from y8 💛 never missed the classroom more …
