In the 2000s and 2010s, there were consistently more fouls called in the playoffs

But recently, we've had postseasons (2023 & 2024) in which refs have really swallowed their whistles as compared to the regular season

The Pelicans' restructuring has created at least 25 vacancies across basketball operations and business departments so far. Medical and performance was hit hardest, with 7 vacancies. Analytics also completely gutted.
