I highly recommend the doc. Watch it if you haven't already. And please talk to your elected officials about the need for AI safety regulations to be designed and implemented, like was the case with nuclear weapons.
This might be the *An Iconvenient Truth* moment for AI. I think more people are talking about AI in a less passive way and realizing how both dangerous and incredible this tech can be, and that **such power should not be concentrated in the hands of five men**.
The film interviews both top AI CEOs, as well AI safety specialists and activists, so really good journalism here imo.
The filmmakers are asking the right questions, working through the slop, and trying to navigate this new wave of AI—and all the anxiety around it—in a healthy way.
Some good news about #ai. I saw the film, The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist the other day. Very heartfelt and human take on working though AI anxiety, co-directed by award-winning documentary director Charlie Tyrell.

Been deving for a long time but I've only been venturing into graphics programming & three.js recently. Working on a portfolio & was really inspired by the Fair Phone, so I made this scrolling animation. Made with Affinity Designer, Blender, #threejs and GSAP to make it. What do you think?
It was really cool to go from, "I guess this the bed we made; let's just get this game over with," to, "OK now I *really* want to make this game and play it."
I just backed this game on Kickstarter. An angel who has to rebuild their brain as a pixel art RPG is so intriguing ❤️
