Watched 4 Tagesschau in Einfacher Sprache and understood almost all of them. Had to look up some theme specific words but that’s what it’s for. Feeling much better about how much German I’ve forgotten.

Probably will lose that feeling after lunch when I do grammar.

Another glorious morning in Berlin. I always have trouble deciding what to do: go outside or go somewhere (I have errands that must be done) or leave the windows open and work on things at home. I could do both. I just can’t get organized enough to do either!

That’s what I always liked about Micheal Crichton books. Based in science and he goes that next step. Good fiction is always believable.

With oldest kiddo being very into science I figured I better learn some basic terms. Will also help as youngest gets more classes in German.
Sigh. So much to learn! Let’s not even talk about relearning how to do math. (Kids had “common core” and now math is in German.)

I truly love how German nouns are constructed. So descriptive and fairly easy to figure out!
