The longer the genesis of Jenrick's career continues, the more revelations of his charlatanism are unveiled.

Facepalm Sunday.
Today’s golfing Link Salad image plays on a deliberate contrast. World Water Day exists to highlight the global challenge of water scarcity, yet 22 March 1934 was also the day the first Masters began at Augusta National. That gives us a set of golfing links in every sense: connections between ideas, and a sport built around some of the world’s most carefully maintained green landscapes. The image pushes that tension further by reimagining the course as a lush Hanging Gardens of Babylon oasis surrounded by desert. It is beautiful, but it also raises an uncomfortable question about the water needed to sustain such spaces, especially in hot and arid climates. In that sense, the image is not just about golf. It is about abundance, scarcity and what green landscapes can hide.
Today’s golfing Link Salad contrasts World Water Day with the first Masters in 1934 — a lush Hanging Gardens-style oasis set against desert scarcity. ⛳🌊

A dramatic night scene in the Arizona desert near Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff shows a long-eared dog leaping into the air as if trying to catch two glowing planets in the sky. Uranus appears large and turquoise-blue while Pluto is smaller and pale, floating close beside it. Behind the dog stands the illuminated white dome of Lowell Observatory, surrounded by red desert rocks and saguaro cacti, with distant canyon cliffs suggesting the nearby Grand Canyon. In the deep indigo sky above, the stars form a constellation shaped like a dog bone, linking the playful scene to the astronomical discoveries associated with the observatory.
A natural Link Salad for 13 March.

Today’s Link Salad connects three anniversaries on 11 March: 📚 Douglas Adams — creator of the Vogons 📰 Rupert Murdoch — builder of the Sun newspaper empire 🌍 1985 — the day Mikhail Gorbachev took power in the USSR Put them together and you get a surreal office scene: Vogons rubber-stamping paperwork in Wernham Hogg, while David Brent dances and Tim Canterbury looks straight at the camera. The bridge between these worlds? Martin Freeman, who appears in both The Office and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Sometimes history, media and science fiction connect in the most unlikely places. #LinkSalad #OnThisDay #DouglasAdams #TheOfficeUK #MartinFreeman #HitchhikersGuide #Gorbachev #ColdWarHistory #BritishComedy #VisualStorytelling

I would love to get a blood red ink. Like this
Like bright red at the edges and dark where the ink is layered or heavier
Does that make sense?
Well here's a good piece of #linksalad in a calendar format, although I'm not into star signs myself.

Trump has now conducted 42 boat strikes, killing nearly 160 people.
Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.
He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.
This is a danger to us all.
2016 the pivot?
Wow. This is beautiful.

This is good advice every day, assuming of course that your local city or suburb hasn’t been specifically and deliberately designed to make you essentially car dependent… #UrbanTruth
graphic titled “how much you learn” by @growthbyvisuals on ig showing three brains partially filled with color the lowest filled says “from theory” the one that is about half full says “from practice” the fullest says “from mistakes”
~two months since that thing and four months since the other thing 😔
(and several years since the things we don’t talk about but anyway)
Pictured are hurdles that are going higher, written above and beneath is: „maybe you don’t realize how far you’ve come because you keep raising the bar“
Und dazu noch dieses Bild von growthbyvisuals:
Graphic by Growthbyvisuals. Colored line on a white background with 2 humps in an ascending pattern and one started at the top. The bottom humps say "I can't do this" but each hump above it says "But you did" and gets higher and higher each time.
But you did! ✨️
A version of the growthbyvisuals meme “just make it exist first/you can make it good later.” Text says, “just make it exist first” above a roughly drawn green circle. A second line reads, “You can shade with multiply, slap a noise layer on it, and call it good later” above the same roughly drawn circle, with the aforementioned changes.
I made a version of the meme to show ✨my process✨
Two pictures by growthbyvisuals: A pile of clothes. Clothes hanging up neatly on a rack. The captions: Keeping it all in your head. Versus Writing it down.
Once, I was tasked to organise an overnight move of the company I worked for to a different office building. I started keeping a notepad by my bed. Anytime I thought of something for the to do list, I wrote it down immediately. Saved me from going 4 weeks without sleep. So...not just for us oldies:
Pixel-art scene inspired by the Super Mario Mushroom Kingdom. A go-kart race takes place on a bright track surrounded by red-and-white mushrooms, green hills, floating coins and classic Mario question blocks. At the front is a sharply dressed 1960s advertising executive resembling Don Draper from Mad Men, wearing a suit and smoking a cigarette while driving his kart. Behind him, several other suited advertising men drive karts while talking on their mobile phones. The scene links three things associated with 10 March: MAR10 / Mario Day celebrating Super Mario Bros. (1985), the birthday of Jon Hamm (1971) who played Don Draper in Mad Men, and the 150th anniversary of the first telephone call in 1876. The visual joke is that Don Draper is leading the race while everyone else is distracted by their phones. 🍄📞🏁

Well, a few days ago I got an ADHD diagnosis which I was skeptical but warily accepting of.
Since then I left my laptop at work, and left my phone on the bus.
And after I am done being very upset for losing my phone, this is going to be funny, because the universe loves to immediately humble me.
An almost B&W photo (but not!) of waves receding over some rocks on a black sand beach. In the distance are some mountain peaks under thick grey cloud, the tops obscured.
Even without the mountains showing, Stokksnes is still really special. Bit obsessed with these rocks!
