2020年，漫畫《堕天作戦》原作者（山本章一）性侵女性，小學舘對外公開道歉，表示不該繼續讓他擔任原作工作。

2026年，札幌法院判決北海道某私立高校男教師性侵未成年女學生，判處賠償1100萬日元；

出現傳言此男教師就是那位男漫畫家。
