Then I’m like, maybe that’s an interesting thing to write about! Why do we want to share our thoughts, what does that mean? It's very human obviously - but does it help? Do we want attention? authority? connection? understanding? Do we just want to be seen?

Then I get tired and don’t do it. Hahaha

BUT then! I’m always struck by the nature of this compulsion? WHY do I want to broadcast my opinion, what am I seeking? Validation? Attention? Do I want discourse - do I trust discourse? Am I the right mouthpiece? Do I know what I'm talking about? Should I just journal? Why is that LESS appealing?

Getting dangerously close to starting a blog because I have a lot of THOUGHTS that apparently want to surface in the space where communication, capitalism, pop culture, nostalgia, community and our fear of death intersect.

Another day, another sense of bone deep exhaustion at the ever oppressive tech that has swept through our industry.
