The meaning of a good death Our vision is an Australia where we all have choice at the end of life. We empower people to choose the care that is right for them, including the option of voluntary assisted dying.

The nurse who had come home in tears from aged care, broken by the bad deaths she had witnessed, had finally managed to claim for herself the kind of ending she wished for others: one held in love, free from avoidable pain, shaped by her own hand. #VAD

I would have stopped the watch and strolled home victoriously.

14km trot. Thought I’d combine efforts with a stop at Dutch Records in the 12th km for Record Store Day. That one copy of Tangerine Dream was already gone, so I ran home empty handed. 🥺

Thought I was developing cataracts. Went to opticians, doctors, the lot. Panic, panic, panic. Turns out it was a dirty ipad screen.

Clean your screens.

All I Need (feat. Beth Hirsch) [Vegyn Version]
All I Need (feat. Beth Hirsch) [Vegyn Version] YouTube video by Air - Topic

Vegyn’s beautiful Blue Moon Safari remix came out last year for Record Store Day. Maybe it’s just a reminder that this Saturday is Record Store Day.

Such a good show.

My RSD routine. Avoid Happy Valley and Greville because queues. Go to Rocksteady Records. Live set on, everyone freezes and goes deathly silent. Me eyeballing racks I can’t reach. Record Paradise… convince myself there’s still something decent. Buy an overpriced live album. Play it once. Regret it.

Reverse that order. You can deliver via the Main Yarra Trail 😋

Geelong Half Marathon done.
This one is a favourite. Quiet, gentle, no noisy cheering, nice birdies warbling.
Thought about Mum at 19km, near where she spent her final days. Ran a lot of this path while visiting her. Felt a bit of a rocket up my arse there too. 🚀🖕🏼

Did you even run Geelong if you skipped dimmies in Little River?

I also finalised my Berlin Marathon registration… and updated my will. 😆

Yesterday I had a coronary artery calcium scan to see if I’m at risk of a heart attack, because... family history.

Today I’m picking up my Ballarat Half Marathon bib, then picking up my Geelong Half Marathon bib.

The running can be an additional measure.

Israel won't stop. 12 hours after the ceasefire they dropped 100 bombs on Beirut. It's all extremely predictable. They want Lebanon, and feel supreme to their Arab neighbours. We have all enabled this national psychopathy with impunity. Israel won't stop until they are stopped.
