The nurse who had come home in tears from aged care, broken by the bad deaths she had witnessed, had finally managed to claim for herself the kind of ending she wished for others: one held in love, free from avoidable pain, shaped by her own hand. #VAD

Australian politicians love to claim welfare programs are beset with fraud, even if there's very little evidence, because it justifies cutting welfare spending www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...
Nice family portrait.
Mags and bloons.
Your 8pm Sunday movie is my 11pm Saturday night headliner band. 😬
Bloons this morning. Zonzo was it for me and they ran out of merch. Didn’t hang around for the rest. #bloonwatch
Berlin based band, The Third Sound, on stage at The Bendy in Collingwood
Gig poster for The Third Sound at The Bendigo Hotel. Support acts: USER and J.P Shilo
Gig last night. USER were my highlight. Local band, first up.
Three vinyl records laid out: Tangerine Dream “Night Trains & Cityscapes”, Air “Moon Safari – The Athens Concert”, and a Daniel Avery "Tremor".
I would have stopped the watch and strolled home victoriously.
14km trot. Thought I’d combine efforts with a stop at Dutch Records in the 12th km for Record Store Day. That one copy of Tangerine Dream was already gone, so I ran home empty handed. 🥺

Woo hoo!
Go Bluesky
Thought I was developing cataracts. Went to opticians, doctors, the lot. Panic, panic, panic. Turns out it was a dirty ipad screen.
Clean your screens.
Vegyn’s beautiful Blue Moon Safari remix came out last year for Record Store Day. Maybe it’s just a reminder that this Saturday is Record Store Day.

Such a good show.
My RSD routine. Avoid Happy Valley and Greville because queues. Go to Rocksteady Records. Live set on, everyone freezes and goes deathly silent. Me eyeballing racks I can’t reach. Record Paradise… convince myself there’s still something decent. Buy an overpriced live album. Play it once. Regret it.
Reverse that order. You can deliver via the Main Yarra Trail 😋
Full marathon gets four Marathon dimmies.
Female in black running gear standing on a riverside path after a half marathon, smiling and holding her crappy wooden medal, with a red bib on her shirt.
Geelong Half Marathon done.
This one is a favourite. Quiet, gentle, no noisy cheering, nice birdies warbling.
Thought about Mum at 19km, near where she spent her final days. Ran a lot of this path while visiting her. Felt a bit of a rocket up my arse there too. 🚀🖕🏼
Two fried dim sims in a bag with tomato sauce 😋
Did you even run Geelong if you skipped dimmies in Little River?
I also finalised my Berlin Marathon registration… and updated my will. 😆
Yesterday I had a coronary artery calcium scan to see if I’m at risk of a heart attack, because... family history.
Today I’m picking up my Ballarat Half Marathon bib, then picking up my Geelong Half Marathon bib.
The running can be an additional measure.
Pioneer of hip hop with that signature 808… but wow, some stuff I didn’t know about him. 😬

Pink cloudy sunset over Melbourne with Richmond Town Hall clock and the Pelaco building in view.
Pink at night, snacks and soft light.
Must be in nesting mode. He ignores me all summer, now he’s back dancing over most days.

Israel won't stop. 12 hours after the ceasefire they dropped 100 bombs on Beirut. It's all extremely predictable. They want Lebanon, and feel supreme to their Arab neighbours. We have all enabled this national psychopathy with impunity. Israel won't stop until they are stopped.
