The industry's presence extends beyond club partnerships and is embedded at the competition level:
- Most European leagues have a gambling partner for their competition this season.
- Gambling firms or lotteries are title sponsors for almost half (14/31) of all leagues analysed. (4/5)
The investigation identified 105 companies and 140 brands involved. Many deals are with industry heavyweights Kindred, Kaizen and Entain and household names like Unibet, Betano, Betway and Bwin. Others are operators based offshore in places like Curaçao, or with little-known brands in Asia. (5/5)
