and i’m not attached to any of them as being a statement of worth: i and others can (and do) suck (derogatory) at them all the time. it’s like using stars for navigation; they’re there, you don’t have to use them, but you can. after all, sometimes, it’s fun to see what fire can do.

my specific ideals are something like… balance between having good boundaries and being open. communicating honestly and safely. learning power with, not power over (except in intentional/communicated/consensual dynamics). and making the world a more interesting and compassionate place.

subjective to someone’s values and ethics, i think. i prefer to think of it as… able to manage and/or put out more fires than one starts. which, you know, considering the current trajectory of world, breaking even is strong evidence.

there are better ways to suffer than the past week. looking forward to the next taste of better.
