Fuel Prices Drop Across Newfoundland and Labrador Fuel prices dropped across Newfoundland and Labrador overnight. Gasoline prices fell by up to 7.0 cents per litre. Diesel fuel on the Island decreased by up to 18.7 cents per litre, while diesel prices in western Labrador dropped by 26.5 cents per litre. Heating fuel costs also declined. Furnace oil on the Island decreased by 16.21 cents per litre, and stove oil in western Labrador fell by 25.35 cents per litre.
