Me too... I loved the Upgrade Assistant available in Visual Studio, it just worked very smoothly to migrate my .NET Framework projects to .NET.

Now they replaced it with Copilot, WHY should I use a chatbot?

But also because Rust is great for low-level system programming (among other things), but trying to implement a real game 100% in Rust 1) Without a very good command of the language 2) Without previous experience in game programming can be a really painful experience compared to the . NET ecosystem.

I’m not certain what scope of game projects you’re referring to, but C# provides ample performance for the majority of games a novice developer can reasonably create without overextending themselves.

Given your background, unless you have strong reasons to use Rust for your game, I’d recommend learning C#. It’s much simpler, has great tools and libraries, and offers excellent game engines if you need them.

What kind of advice are you expecting to receive? Without knowing your background, your preferences, the type of projects you want to work on, timelines, etc., it's impossible to offer any useful advice.
