Finally sat down to listen to it today and totally agree. Incredible stuff, excellent short film. Really great chat with Albarn about it's themes and creation via Australian radio over here too www.abc.net.au/news/2026-02...

@cado.bsky.social and @patrickklepek.bsky.social, did either of you try the demo for Key Fairy a few Next Fests back? Game's out now and it's a great precision-movement, grapple-momentum, quirky little gem of a game. store.steampowered.com/app/2878580/...
An image split in three with headings, describing the emotions of the author relating to their experience with playing Baby Steps a second time. What I played: Baby Steps second play through. What I expected: a happy looking Nate with the words "new hats!", "easy and chill", "victory lap", "so skilled now" and "uwu to my pain" surrounding him. What I got: "you three..." describing three chicks. Nate's expressionless face. Nate looking lost saying "where are you child?" Nate looking upset saying "no don't go there". Nate looking crestfallen saying "yabbai..." and then three chicks with the words "but so cute."
I want to share with @foddy.net and @gcuzzillo.bsky.social this work of art my friend made to capture my second playthrough of Baby Steps. My 3 children are currently trapped in a old abandoned mine hole and they REFUSE TO LEAVE.
Literally one of the few reasons I'm still on any short-form social media is for these once-a-year comics from so many creators <3
I hope one of those games was Baby Steps o.O
You can do it!
Didn't you listen to Mike? There's nothing up there, so don't bother. Not even a very nice view...
@patrickklepek.bsky.social and @gameonysus.bsky.social if you don't have Windswept on your radar for your platformer fix, I highly recommend (based on the first 5 levels). Clear DK Country-inspired design, but pushes in some interesting directions mechanically. store.steampowered.com/app/1660960/...
This is an excellent read! Thanks for putting it together
This was a great read
I think, having been starved of entertainment for so long, my Sleeper would seek out every digital and physical game they could find. What's hot, what isn't, what's new and what they've missed over the years. They'd engross themselves in a wide mix until they create something for themselves.
2 hours for a lifetime of memories!
It would make putting things away after grocery shopping so easy! Just roll it all up into the fridge...
I can only begin to imagine your thoughts once they start getting taught science at school and you see their homework...
For me, it was a lovely date spot for my wife and I, but very much not really a museum - in neither art nor history... I sympathise with your disappointment.
ANOHNI's Knockin' on Heaven's Door is also fantastic. Deeply impactful, pulls at the heart while being profoundly comforting
I miss when my Xbox handle was Hal9000compter (sic)... Year 8 me had great taste in usernames

When I used to play notoriously toxic League I always tried to balance the scales with ultra positivity in /all chat. So many people reached out after thanking me or wanting to be friends after matches! 5v5 games are a very different context to the depths of the open internet, though... <3
Thanks for this! Right off the bat reading that excellent review of Proximate has made me really itch to get it.

That sounds genius. Like Regicide's Red and Blue versions. Double the manufacture and art, but if you also tweak mechanics too it'd be closer to Railroad Ink's model.
A challenging question! Digitally I just think of the trend of fishing mini games, Dredge, full fishing games. Tabletop now I think about it there's not that many! Was a vibes-based statement that'd I'm now struggling to back up xD
Too many fish games. Bugs are different
Japanese game cover design is widely admired by players, a true craft they have perfected over the years. In an effort to make their product stand out, many studios explored a more tactile range of materials. The resulting effect is as amusing today as it is instantly nostalgic.🧵
Did we ever "export" pie floaters, though...?

Hi Bluesky, could really use your help 🙏🙏
We just launched our latest game Starless Abyss - the exact week that Oblivion was shadow-dropped. Which has been *not fantastic* for our launch
If anyone can spare a RT, that would be so, so helpful ❤️❤️
