since his whole foot injury happened he has also been diagnosed w heart issues and is now on two permanent medications for it so im hoping that scares potential adopters off LOL
also why do daisy and him both have to have heart problems 🫠

i have to move back into my parents’ house soon bc i wanna do the vet tech program and wont have time to work during it & im very very very much considering finally adopting him when i do bc then there would be more room to house a macaw there

hes been so good though, possibly the only macaw that can exist in a small apartment and not bother the neighbours or destroy everything

not permanently though sadly 😭 just until his foot heals

even just a couple days ago i saw someone on the dogfood subreddit saying they needed food recs bc their dog who theyd been feeding grain free to all its life got DCM, its scary 😭

Daisy is currently dying of heart failure so I’m extra cautious of heart related issues 😭😭

(im going through all your dog posts sjdhdjd) be careful about feeding grain free foods!! they have been linked to a bad heart disease (DCM)&majority of vets advise against them 😭
idk whats all available in Brazil but the dog food subreddit is very helpful!! (& debunks a lot of dog food propaganda)

oh yeah so later this day daisy had to go to the emergency hospital and had to spend the night & almost died & now shes in heart failure and doesnt have long left so im a mess :)

but hey at least dermatologist said the mole is one of three possible things, none of which are bad so 🙌 small win

oh yeah and i just saw the email from my insurance denying my claim for the cpap machine for the second time even w a doctors note so 🤪🤪 im trying v hard not to cry 🤪🤪🤪🤪

i set up a security camera so now i can just obsessively stare at daisy when im out and stress 🤪

why does this stuff only seem to happen when i have a long weekend or vacation 🫠
