A photograph of peel-apart film cameras, captured on 35mm film. Their clunky design is part of their appeal for me.

Ah, yes. I see what you mean!
It’s Polaroid 669 film (an expired pack).
Thanks for sharing your work - it’s wonderful! I love the ‘in the forest’ and ‘bucky bird’ shots in particular. 🙂

Ah, that’s great to hear! I would love to see some of your photographs.
Yes, I believe One Instant produce b&w peel-apart film (or at least they used to). It’s quite overpriced in my opinion given the limited number of shots per pack but is significantly cheaper than buying expired film.
I think we tried One Instant a few years ago - it’s a decent substitute, though not quite on the same level as Polaroid, unfortunately.
Do you do much photography yourself?
So nice to come across another peel-apart film enthusiast! It’s such a shame it’s mostly been discontinued - when it works well, it can be truly magical. Luckily, my partner stocked up on quite a few packs before the prices went through the roof.

Spring sunlight and green spaces make everything a little lighter.
Thank you! 🙏 I hope you are having a great day.
After a challenging stretch with creative submissions, I’m really pleased to have a photography series accepted for publication. 📸

The stamps I was compensated with.
Royal Mail lost a handmade clay item I posted via recorded delivery, spent two months investigating, then compensated me with £13 worth of stamps and a letter saying, “I hope you are happy with the outcome.” Reader, I was not. 📮

A handmade resin turtle and sea-themed coaster.
I made this little resin turtle with shell fragments and semi-precious stones, and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. I also made a sea-themed coaster using resin and black sand. I’ve been finding crafting really helpful for unwinding lately. #crafting #resin
I think I was around 20 here. #nostalgia
Hi there Whitney, thank you for your kind comments - I'm so glad you appreciated these! Yes, it’s really enjoyable to make these clay pieces, and I often make them for friends and family. I find making personalised gifts makes me feel more connected in some ways to the people I make the gifts for.
