Our new hire went from left to right in the same day. I just told them they could have fun with it.

I want to find a cofounder to ship a bunch of different AI products on top of my main business.
Yes, I can do this myself. That's still the default.
But having a good cofounder just seems more fun.
Observation from shopping around for new PaaS:
I feel like a lot of people compare entry level tiers across platforms.
This makes sense but wish there was more comparison over reasonable paid plans/setups.
Initial migration/deploy has been super easy and I'm back to focusing on application code!
I felt like I was constantly fighting our previous PaaS.
Then yesterday, it jacked up our prod db after an internal networking incident on their end. Put our db cluster into a "zombie lock" that was annoying.
Since we're prelaunch, instead of fixing the lock, I just decided to move to
render.com.
No haven't tried that one.
I've tried different dual core/tri core schedules I believe.
Family lifestyle (especially with toddler) is one of the main reasons I haven't tried again.
Ozempic for sleep would be sick.
(Need less sleep -> More productive hours)
I've tried doing polyphasic sleep schedules multiple times for the same outcomes. Never worked for me lol
You can tell a lot about someone based on their podcasts...
Takeaway: Your kid is cooler than me haha
Two newsletters worth paying for:
1. Lenny's Newsletter by @lennysan.bsky.social
2. Growth Memo by @kevin-indig.bsky.social
#2 is still very under the radar.
Links (ty bsky):

Spotify Wrapped isn't as cool with a toddler lol.
I've got the Wiggles and the Encanto album all over my top songs/artists.

Any tips on how to evaluate SEO talent when you're an SEO n00b? Or replace "SEO" with any other domain that you're a n00b in.
Dig into your business' costs at least every 3-6 months.
In just a few months:
- new expenses creep in and add up
- previous requirements no longer apply and you can cut vendors
Have an EA/VA do research and negotiate with vendors. One of the easiest ROI things to delegate for a couple of hours.
Idk why but I thought markdown for links worked on here LOL
I read [Notes on Taste](www.are.na/editorial/no...) by Brie Wolfson about 1 month ago.
It's been stuck in the back of my head ever since.
Would recommend.
- [Elad Gil on Defensibility and Competition](blog.eladgil.com/p/defensibil...)
- [Charlie Munger on Worldly Wisdom](fs.blog/great-talks/...)
Most things I end up reading have been referenced by another person or article that I follow. Some content that I've really liked lately (no order)
- [Are.na on Taste](www.are.na/editorial/no...)
- [How to Succeed in a Mr Beast Production](readwise.io/reader/docum...)
Gold. Thanks!
Nice man! Sounds like exciting times. Looking forward to following along
Thanks!
Curious about what you find helpful/interesting nowadays.
Not many founders have gone to the scale of WP Engine.
What longform content have you liked lately?
Still running React Squad?
Been liking OnlyPosts as a more quiet type of feed π¦

hahah the idea of *every* Harry Potter movie is intimidating to me just based on total time.
I've been thinking of watching Mad Men for a while. Have heard really good things... But I can have crazy binge watcher behaviors so need to be careful
Would love to be added!
I'm an indie founder building an agency + saas/ai products on the side right now.
1. Rewatching Prison Break right now lol.
2. Christmas movies (nothing too specific. This Christmas is a classic for us though)
3. Moana 2
This makes sense as a global trend. But personally, consuming more long term content is so much more worth the time.
Less noise. More signal.
@asmartbear.bsky.social You have no idea who I am.
But I appreciate all your writing and content. I find myself reviewing and revisiting your articles often.
Great connecting with you!
