When August and Christine Got Coffee (Part 3/4) - Gator Days Characters Christine - Alligator - Just moved into town and is trying to meet people. August - Alligator - A single guy working in IT at a tech start up. Has a lot of trouble talking to people. Transcript Panel 1 August and Christine are out on a coffee date but Christine has been pretty tense. We still can't see what August's shirt says because he's blocking it with his coffee. We'll probably never know what it says and we have to make peace with that. August: You don't like quiet places? Christine: They give me too much room to think. Panel 2 August sips his coffee as Christine explains. August's shirt is unblocked! But the bottom part is still out of sight. We can only see the word Classy. Christine: Crowds are easier. I can get lost in a crowd. No thinking, just doing. Panel 3 While August happens to enjoy places with less people around, he can relate to that uncomfortable feeling. You know what makes me uncomfortable? Not being able to read someone's shirt. It is the opposite of classy. August: Crowds overwhelm me. It's hard to keep track of everything. Then I get awkward. Panel 4 Christine is starting to feel a little more relaxed. Christine: Yeah, but you're cute when you're awkward. August looks away sheepishly. And they're both facing away from us so once again we don't know what the shirt says. Fine. It's fine. I'm okay. I didn't even want to know what it says. It's probably going to be something anticlimactic anyway.

Gustopher - Alligator - An easily excitable child who loves making friends. August's son. Mewbert and Nougat - Cat - Animal - August and Gustopher's pet cats. Transcript Panel 1 August and Gustopher have a place they need to be later. August is making a note to keep track of the time so they don't end up being late. Gustopher is eager to assist with this. August: We have to leave 5:00. I should keep an eye on the time. Gustopher: I'll help. August's did not set an alarm. His destiny is set at this point. Panel 2 Gustopher is playing a video game on his bed. Nougat is keeping him company. Gustopher notices the time and decides it's a good moment to yell a reminder to his Dad who is in another room. Gustopher: DAD! WE LEAVE IN FIVE HOURS! August: Thank you! Panel 3 Gustopher is now petting Mewbert on the couch. An hour has gone by and so Gustopher decides to give his dad another reminder. He's being extra helpful today. Gustopher: WE LEAVE IN FOUR HOURS! August: Got it. Panel 4 Gustopher hasn't given his Dad a reminder in a while. He has gone into the office to let him know. Gustopher: We were supposed to leave ten minutes ago. August: WHA-!? August mentally reminds himself to set an alarm in the future. He probably won't.

Frogtopher's dad. Mawberta - Cat - Animal - Frogtopher and Frogust's pet cat. Transcript Panel 1 Frogtopher is watching his favorite show, Froggy Morning, but notices that something is weird. Instead of the usual cast of frogs, everyone seems to be a variety of animals. The main character has become and alligator. What is this? Some sort of Gator Days of Our Lives? Frogtopher: WHAT'S GOING ON!? Why are all the characters different in this episode? Panel 2 Frogust remembers this episode. He lets his frog son know that everything is alright in their frog world. Mawberta is sleeping peacefully on Frogust's lap. Frogust: This aired on April 1st. It's a joke episode. Panel 3 Frogtopher thinks this is weird. A show where the people aren't frogs? What's next! A show where everyone is a human? This is highly unusual. Frogtopher: Weird. Frogust: It goes back to normal in the next one. Panel 4 Frogtopher does not like this. The changes to show might be weird but he likes it the way it is. He voices his displeasure while waving his frog arms and frog tongue like they're made of rubber. Frogtopher: BUT I LIKE IT BETTER THIS WAY! Frogust: Everyone does. Mawberta gives Frogtopher a dirty look. He is not a fan of this dimension.
