Minnesota can’t wait to celebrate ability, community, and inclusion for all at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
Volunteers are the backbone of this event, and there’s still plenty of time to sign up before June!

What a beautiful face to come home to! Photo from my collection, 1957.
russia continues to bomb Ukraine.
People in Dnipro and Kharkiv suffered from new terrorist strikes.
There’s no rationale behind these cruel attacks — only insane, sadistic obsession.
Help prevent them — support air defenses:

Panel 3 Gustopher has a determined look on his face and stares off into the distance in contemplation of his week ahead. Gustopher: I have someplace important to be. Panel 4 It's a later point and Gustopher is on the couch at his Grandparents. He's holding a plate with some treats while his grandpa is looking for something for them to watch. Scream if you have to…
You know that you are a human.
To mark World Poetry Day, Sir Stephen Fry recited a beautiful poem by famous Ukrainian poet and journalist, Vasyl Symonenko.
Thank you, Stephen, for promoting our culture. You are a gentleman and a scholar, as well as a true friend of Ukraine.

Black and white photo of a smiling white woman sitting outside on a sunny house stoop, wearing a cast and sling on her right arm and cervical collar. A happy little shorthaired black cat rubs up beside her.
I don’t know the story here but my best guess is “tripped over the cat going down stairs in the dark but still love him”. Photo from my collection, 1958.
A green felt patch. Image on the patch is a shooting star with purple and blue trail. Inside the trail, in blue lettering, is the text “cops shouldn’t murder guilty people either”

America is basically still a baby, but at 250, it’s time to grow up.
We won’t be melting Oscars into bullets — too wasteful.
We won’t be downing Shaheds with them — too ambitious (although, awesome in theory).
But we’re beyond grateful for such incredible shoutouts.
If you want too see russian drones burn, though…

Catrick: I like to finish my meal by dipping my added value side in a seasonal item. I do this several times a week. Panel 4 Stuart is by the camera and giving Catrick feedback. No one has realized that no one has removed the cap from the camera. August from IT was brought in to see why the camera isn't recording anything. He's just standing there in stunned silence. He will not be getting Cat Burger for dinner. Stuart: GREAT WORK, SIR! Highly relatable.
