Like many others, I found the last few seasons of US drag race (S18 and AS10 in particular) to be completely mundane and disappointing with over the top production interference and a focus on things that don’t align with my priorities.

I host Pokémon game shows, I produce reality TV VGC competitions for queer people, I'm a shiny hunter, and I've met big creators I didn't think I would ever reach: Blake Jennings, PartyArlie, AbsolBlogs, among others! I need to focus on videos that fulfill me, and Drag Race does not fulfill me!

In summary, I'm highly disappointed with how the show has handled Latin representation. I'm burnt out and not having fun. I'm not growing as a creator and folks that watch my Drag Race content do not engage with my regular Pokémon videos. I wanna weed those folks out.

You may or may not know, but I finally made the announcement on YouTube that I'm quitting Drag Race. The comments are mostly positive and agreeable, but I have a couple LONG (respectful) paragraphs, and I'm losing a couple subscribers, which was expected! Pray for me!

Girl, Yawn is an awful move! I get it! You can also give it Leftovers and stall with Protect for some healing, and you got a good start with the HP EVs!

I LOVE Sylveon, it's in my Top 5, so I know how to use her!

The few EVs in Speed are wasted on a Trick Room setter like Hatterene, especially when she could be outclassed by Farigiraf, who has access to Armor Tail to prevent priority moves w/o Psychic Terrain and doesn't interfere with your own Dragonite's E-Speed.

Sylveon is a great Special wall that can support Dragonite! A move set of Hyper Voice, Mystical Fire (for Ice and Steel coverage), Reflect, and Protect is more standard.

Change the nature to Bold (+DEF/-ATK) and some EVs from SpATK to DEF, and you've got a pretty tanky Sylvey!

Having to grind for VP in Ranked Battles can be annoying to most casual players, and the limited selection of Held Items is a bit jarring, but it's a good starting option for VGC beginners.

The whiplash from playing a 60fps game to 30fps is rough, but it runs all right. There's a Spectator Mode in Private Battles that would be excellent for PPPVGC, and the private lobbies allow up to 12 players!

I personally thought it was running like doodoo caca at first, but the more I played it, the battle arena seemed fine. I'm disappointed at the lack of variety and not every Mega being available. The whiplash of going from 60fps to 30 was… rough, but it's not as terrible as I initially thought.

These poor japanese children picking up champions and using their rental team 15 minutes into the game going against my defensive wall calm mind pixilate leftovers wish protect shiny sylveon… 😭

And on the social media bans for minors topic, literally EVERY "online safety" bill for children feels like a trojan horse for sneaking in diabolical things, and they're packaged that way for people to be like, "Oh so you don't care about the safety of the children?!?!" when you oppose it. Be wary!
