I meditate on the cyclical nature of life and what I will do in the summer. I wonder if the prolonged lower temperatures will kill off some of the many invasive speiof bugs and plants that have taken hold here. I contemplate the silence & stillness of the ocean, with its waves frozen in place. 🤍🤍

What a lovely question! I think about how much deeper into the trees I can see. I look for old bird nests that are visible due to the lack of leaves on the trees. I think about how everything looks sleepier under the weighted blanket of snow and how it seems I'm the only person who loves winter. 🤍🤍
