Searching for balance in all the wrong places this week. Hoping it gets better as the week stretches on.
genAI NPCS are shit for many reasons but also:
NPCs with one or two lines of dialog clearly communicate to the player that this character cannot help you progress.
We don't just choose not to include thousands of lines for NPCs because we're lazy or lack resources. It's bad design.
