Before eternal darkness was released Nintendo or Silicon Knights held a contest where people could submit their own indie horror short movies and I think about them a lot because I cant find ANYTHING online about them. Some were really good too esp for an era before ryoutube

Its a shame how memed on it got especially for how competent of an RPG it is. Really good battle system that is challenging, a big world to explore, good cast of characters and fun story. It came out during a generation when rpgs struggling so it should get wayyyy more credit than it deserves

As far as I can tell I'm the only person on to upload a 1-100 segment for Baldr Sky Dive 1 Survival mode. This game is NOTORIOUS for being considered impossible by the community to the point the Japanese wiki tells you to save scum your way to level 100

Finally got through 100 stages in survival mode in Baldr Sky. As far as I've seen on youtube and on forums nobody has posted a full run from level 1 through level 100 without save scumming. Even the japanese wiki tells you to save scum survival mode because its so unbalanced. Feeling really good.
Oh God I know this all too well especially being in a leadership position. Its wild hearing people who are ten years younger than me change their tone once they know how old I am. The condescension is too real and a shame because I never have that attitude with anyone young or old

Id say second light was a bit better but overall its hard to compare the two since they are surprisingly different games in design and approach. The battle system in second light is SO fun. Something about it just feels kinetic

After finally finishing Baldr Sky I decided to start the new fan translated Time Travelers for the 3DS. So far it seems super promising.

After 108 days since launch and 166 hours later I have finally completed all of Baldr Sky and got all the achievements in it.
This game is one of the most wild rides I've ever been on and I've played and read A LOT of stuff in my 37 years on this earth. I genuinely wont be the same after this.
