The problem is that Apple really has had very few flops and most of their flops (Newton, Vision Pro, Lisa) still pushed boundaries in product and technology.

Sure the butterfly keyboard is a “flop” but it was overblown.

Why not the trashcan? Why not cracking and yellowing of polycarbonate MacBook?

No mention of the Apple II. Much more influential in the US, it was their BBC Micro and funded the company for a decade.
No mention of the company ruining decision to allow third party Macs.
No mention of OS X, the first mainstream *nix operating system.

This article is terrible, and suggests whoever wrote it has no idea what Apple has ever done. There’s no mention of the Mac. No mention of the Newton. Somehow the Lisa is mentioned but ignoring part of its failure was Jobs sabotaging it for the Mac.
