Inpost has a problem. It’s the second time that I’ve had a parcel gone round the country several times as local locker is full.

At least with a delivery drop off that has a human, they can stack up the packages. The Inpost system seems to fail at scale, without humans to step in?

Grave stone with words LOVING MEMORY OF I’m HESTER NORRIS TYDDYN BACH LLANDDOCED DIED 29TH JULY MONTES SURSUM

Visited the old Church at Llangelynnin.

Took photo of one of only “new” graves, one of Hester Norris, died in 1991, lived in Llanddoged (village near where I grew up).

When I got home, I googled and ask friends and family.

Turns out it’s quite a story, rydalpenrhos.turtl.co/story/the-ry...

Jess tells amazing stories. Welsh mythology - bloody lovely going out for a walk with people with such brilliant knowledge of culture, history, mythology and the landscape

A lovely little walk today 🌿☀️

Co-leading with Sion, with Jess bringing the place to life through stories and local legends.

I LOVE this side quest of taking people outside.

Yes! It’s cool to walk the same routes but with people with a different perspective - done a similar one with an archeologist here. You never look at the stones the same again!

Next week’s should be good, think they’re going to be talking about local myths / legends/ stories.

Chilled out walk - currently sat here listening to Women’s Hour whilst eating a pb&j sandwch made with fruit loaf.

A little reccy to update my risk assessment before helping with an organised walk next week with a folklore / historian

Shocked at a couple of farmers I was in school with, who I used to think of as “welsher than me”. Massive Reform supporters now.

Indeed. I believe they’re designed / intended to work as a "safety valve" to prevent sewage from backing up into homes and businesses.

It’s one of the combined sewage overflows - sewer systems that discharge a mixture of raw sewage and stormwater directly into waterbodies during heavy rainfall.

Worth watching “Dirty Business” on Channel 4….

I have been going in despite alerts, but didn’t fancy it tonight after watching that.

Perfect Friday night sauna. Met some lovely women. Great conversations.

Didn’t swim in the lake though.

330 sewage alerts on the SSRS app for this spot since start of January.

Have a small cut on my foot, and didn’t want to risk anything after watching “Dirty Business”

25 years after devolution, it’s time to put digital technology at the heart of political debate in Wales and Scotland.

Transform Wales is part of the National Conversations initiative, bringing people together to open that discussion.

Follow on post from us on Missions, how they link to outcomes and how this can shift the dial of delivering real change in Wales.

There's a third post in this series on shifting from outputs to outcomes, still to come: funding teams to deliver, getting rid of the project mentality. Stay tuned!

Sticker:
Cartoon version of Goldie Looking Chain (the Newport rappers) - styled for St David's Day. The lead singer is dressed as St. David, holding a daffodil, with a Cymraeg flag behind. The sticker has text underneath with the famous phrase: "Gwnewch y pethau bychain" - do the small things.
