Post a perfect album from the '70s that isn't Sweathog, Anita Bryant, Hotlegs, Debby Boone, The Road Apples, Hot Butter, Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots, Carl Douglas, Sailcat, Exile, Shaun Cassidy, Blue Swede, Mary MacGregor, Leo Sayer, Maureen McGovern, or Starland Vocal Band.

Screenshot of Joker and Batman from the Adam West Batman series surfing. Joker says "Cowabunga, Bat-Drip! As surfers go, it looks like you're all wet! Ahahaha!", to which Batman replies "Shut the fuck up! Fuck you!"
Would like to inform New Yorkers that The Human Hearts are playing our first show of this misbegotten year Fri. 1/30 at Gold Sounds (44 Wilson, Bushwick), at a record release show for our friends Sotto Voce, a deft, post-rock (but actually rocking) power trio I like a lot. Come on by.

Pages 9-12 of the aforementioned book's Top 100, featuring a mix of bands (The Ramones), singles ("ABC"), labels (Buddha Records), ephemera (Bobby Sherman's Choker), and moments (Boyce & Hart on "Bewitched"). The Archies are #1.
My Archies binge has led me back to the book Bubblegum Music is the Naked Truth and its intriguingly goofy Top 100 list
My Mom brought me to Val Shively's in Upper Darby, PA in the early 1980s, when I was about 10 yrs old. I asked for a copy of Deep Purple's "My Woman From Tokyo" 45 single. Which he found. And Mom purchased. Probably a weird experience for everybody but me.

Tomorrow: many, many bands celebrate sharing drummer MATTHEW LINCOLN HOUSER @ffeevveerr.bsky.social as their sonic backbone. Also hear from Tris McCall @trismccall.bsky.social! And Sarah flew in! Also, me!

Practice makes less imperfect.
Interesting to see what social harmony or discord would then develop. Also that there should be a car-horn that says ‘Thank you’ or ‘You first’ or ‘I’m sorry.’ Surely if horns were tunable more like an extension of the voice - then a basic language could quickly develop. Even just two tones - high and low, plus volume. Basic horn terms: High, short, quiet: EXCUSE ME! High short, low long, medium: YOU DONKEY (affectionate) Repeating short high, loud: WATCH YOURSELF! (1 can see a danger that you haven’t spotted) Low short repeated, medium: HERE I COME, CLOSING IN! Alternating high/low, very loud: MAKE WAY! LABOUR IN PROGRESS IN BACK SEAT! Low, long: FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE! (‘An Arnold’) Low, very long, very loud: I HAVE A TINY PENIS!
