I really like the NTSC-J box, but it’s 3x the cost of the NTSC-U…

The SuperStation One new user guide is finally done.
Full circle moment
Thank you. ❤️
I’ve been wondering why I’ve been hearing about Open Claw so much in China lately and then I saw this pop up on an employee’s computer today….
The office is closed for the first weekend in a long time. I'm working on a main channel SS1 unboxing/first look with a ton of info from the full dev journey (possibly including fabrication/fulfillment).
Is there anything you'd like to see covered? I'm a semi-open book.
I just want to put this out into the universe again.
If you are a homebrew game dev of a system that runs on MiSTer (GB, NES,MD, etc) with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to include it in SuperStation’s Season 1 Homebrew DLC Pack.

Nintendo Switch 2’s new Handheld Mode Boost is exactly what I asked for in my review last year:
The batch 3 boards started PCB production today. They come back in 10-12 days, and then we start testing and packing.
Do not disconnect. 🎧
Wave 5 is in production now, which includes every remaining FE SS1 + a chunk of batch 2. Wave 6 goes into production tomorrow. It includes the rest of batch 2 and all of batch 3. SuperDock production will scale faster due to shorter PCB turnaround times.
4 years ago, I started filming an ambitious series to document the process of bringing a handheld from idea to production. I set target @ ~$20, with perf that matched ~$70 devices. Filmed everything and paused before MP to make Retro Remake. The RAM alone for that is now $20….
Kinda wild it’s already been 4 years…
Yes, in the same box.
Should be next week.
I only sent out 3 units to YouTubers, and that was after shipping thousands go customers. If anyone else has one, they bought it and got lucky with an early shipment.
Same screen with a different firmware.
The saga continues. Azkali added 1080p Android support for SUPER5 OLED.
Easier UART connector
They are the same. The changes we did are to improve manufacturing speed. Standard cables and connectors for USB / SNAC, integrated WiFi antenna, and better NFC plug.
Wave 3 had 12 testing stations, but we needed to stop testing to use the same space for assembly, so this is a massive upgrade.
We are now assembling/shipping SuperStation v1.2.3 (wave 4) in the second office. We have 14 testing stations and 16-32 spots for assembly and packing. To put this into context, we only had a single testing station for wave 1, and only had enough space for 4 people to assemble.
I think it’s finally time to get back into making gaming handhelds….
I added several to Retro Remake’s 2026 roadmap, and the first one is almost done. It’s 🔥.
Console Mode is going into open beta testing for SuperStation/MiSTER Pi owners. If you are interested, head over to Discord. We have a special role and channel for feedback: discord.gg/t3ZywMBvh
I believe video game consoles have a 0% tariff now. It was 10% before today.
I watched a movie today where a rally team uses an AI chip called SS1 to beat another team that had the second generation of SS1 in their car (called SS8). SuperStation Eight confirmed. 😅
