I reckon I’ve eaten 5000+ calories today. Quite then achievement.

I mean, apart from being fat, blind and scared of going upside down at speed I’d have been a brilliant fighter pilot.

Top Gun: Maverick is such a fun movie.

I’ve seen some shameless cash grabs in my time but Super Mario Galaxy Movie takes the biscuit.

It’s been a day of challenges:

1) Screw in car tyre 🛞.
2) Found leak in boiler. Now need boiler repair 😬
3) Cheer myself up with Steak Bake from Greggs. Bit in, boiling gravy everywhere - EVERYWHERE!
4) Food waste bag split in middle of kitchen 🤮
5) I’ve got a cold 🤒

Tomorrow will be better.

Bought a new mattress today. The thrilling life of a 47 year old.

Really struggling to finish Stranger Things. Four episodes into the last series and I’m a confused, befuddled old man. I’m really finding it hard to care.

He’s been great, seems more effective at 15 than in the centre. He’s also bulky enough to help Bowen out in defence. Big, booming boot too!

Went for a run, which is good. Came home, ate and drank 5000 calories, which is bad. FML.

At that point where I’m deciding whether cheese is a good or bad idea. And port. Port and cheese. And Rennie. Port, cheese and Rennie.

Absolutely incredible. I’ve watched us lose so many tight games in the last 10; we finally look like we know how to squeeze a win. It’s been glorious at CAP this season (so far).

Having a curry tonight so dug out a very old menu for our local favourite place. Inflation is real people. Look at those prices! £4.30 for a lamb sagg. Each of those dishes is over £9 now. Still delicious, but explains why we only do take away as a treat.

Stardew Valley is now officially my second job.
