Just say you don’t want to! Also, this type of research is tailored to what stream it's in (changes the nature of the scope, obviously) and I don't need to add that on as a technical necessity but...it's kind of shocking behaviour in 2026? transparency and fairness where?

In that interim…The rest of the department answered that question on this professors behalf BECAUSE it is in fact in the literal guidelines to do so (handbook, contract, pdf)--I think it was honestly an unkind way to keep more funding for themselves but eh. Bad behaviour. Greed.

I would say chipotle. I think there’s such a draw for it amongst young ppl. Also if there’s a catering style option it’s less messy and might make things feel a bit more party like (make your own nachos/tacos etc.,) nice and customizable for allergies/diet restrictions too.
