Musk says X outcry is 'excuse for censorship' The government is urging Ofcom to use all its powers – up to and including an effective ban – against X.

'You Hate Free Speech' is the go-to Far Right smear every time a targeted group pushes back.

Would be great if headlines like this helped people understand that ugly tactic.

Something very funny about this photo of Andrew Tate's match yesterday but it's the pink boxing gloves that are the icing on the cake.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.

NHS staff who visit patients at home say St George’s flags can mean ‘no-go zones’ Black and Asian staff left feeling ‘deliberately intimidated’, according to chief executive of one NHS trust

“A sustained campaign of anti-migrant rhetoric is fuelling a growing cesspool of racism, including against international and ethnic minority nursing staff, without whom our health and care system would simply cease to function.”

How disgraceful.

No matter who is in the Home Office the power corrupts them.

How do we protest then? Eh?

Nigel Farage doesn’t think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But he’ll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. He’s a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.

This is the standard approach through history: The community of the free. We've always had people insist on liberty, but only for their group, typically white men with property. Progressive liberalism was about rolling out those rights for everyone, a process that is now being reversed.

Young men more likely to vote Green than Reform. Young men second most progressive group of any demographic. Combined right-wing vote barely bigger than Green vote alone for young men

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.

Fresh blow for Rachel Reeves as Nigel Farage trusted more on economy, LBC poll finds

Sadly this shows the financial acumen of the LBC audience to be more at fault than Rachel Reeves.

Photo of Farage frowning and gesticulating

'Reform's rise has so far has been built on a flimsy policy platform' (Photo:

The rise of Reform UK is the result of a profound failure by the two main parties to convince voters that they are on their side.
The utter loss of faith in mainstream politics is laid bare by the new British Social Attitudes survey, which shows that just 12 per cent of people in this country trust governments to put the country's interests before their own.

The iPaper reports the rise of Reform while bemoaning the lack of trust in politics… brought about largely by politicians like Farage peddling ruinous populist bullshit for power… and media shying away from calling that out.
His goddam Brexit is a gold-plated example of why people have lost faith.

Coming soon: Labour responds to the failure of its Nigel Farage tribute act by trying even harder to be a Nigel Farage tribute act whilst closing its eyes to the evidence of where that path led the Tories.
