As much as I love libraries, have worked in them and support them in my role at the Council, telling someone who loves books to use a library is like telling someone who loves music to listen to the radio.

It scratches a similar itch, but it’s not quite the same as owning your own copy.

I’ve been an avid supporter of libraries my whole life, but I also like owning books too! In fact I usually donate older ones I’ll probably no-longer read to my local libraries. :>

I’m so glad I got back into reading again, it’s been a blessing for my mental health (if not my wallet). Since Christmas I’ve read 11 books and no sign of slowing down, though I will eventually branch out and try new genres I’m sure.
