Paid a visit to The Kiosk in Leyland today, the Matcha was nice however it was a little disappointing to hear they had sold out of GF Bagels so no bagel for me! 😭

Okay that isn’t meant to happen…
Annoyingly I don’t have my spare pair of glasses on me so let’s hope I can get them taped back together as I am going straight into work

Had a fun weekend in the North East for the final new station on the Northumberland line! Did a lot of other things too though including a hard parkrun and lots of lounges visited by buses and trains.
I also forgot how cold the north is, especially with the coastal wind 😅

Got up very early for a Saturday at 6:15am to go and do a parkrun, honestly proud of myself even though I am very bad 😂

Had a well deserved lounge breakfast after! Then ticked off 2 more before heading home 😁

It does, which in this case it worked out for us however I feel bad for anyone who is put in the situation where they don’t know if they will even get on the plane they booked and paid for

Our bodies had adjusted to the -15 cold that 12 degrees felt very warm, that warm in fact we had to sit outside to eat in Woking as it was way too warm inside 😂

A bit late but yesterday we flew home from Narvik, which made it my first and second time on a plane in one day!

Did actually end up making money for the flight as our flight was overbooked and we took one 2 hours later for €150 each!

Unfortunately they’re not that fancy, I just got a takeaway and ate it at the AirBnb place

Yesterday was a fun day! Some lovely views after deciding to go Snowboarding / Skiing with Nick in Narvik

I can confidently say it is very hard to snowboard when you’re left on your own! The hardest part was getting off the floor 😭😂

Also had a lovely gluten free Burger King for tea!

After what should have been 5 hours to explore Stockholm becoming 1.5 hours we had a brief walk around before boarding the sleeper train!

The only hot meal I could have was this venison, mash and lingonberry sauce which was actually very tasty! 😁

Here’s to 14 more hours on this train 😂

Some very tasty food yesterday along with some cool views from Nick’s drone!

First one is a kebab and chips from a place in Sunne and second is some ready made frozen gluten free pancakes I bought from a Coop, thought I may aswell since it was pancake day!

To save a bit of money we ate out at IKEA in Copenhagen last night, as the normal meatballs there aren’t gluten free we stopped by a place called Palæo for some gluten free meatballs for me which I sneakily put on my IKEA plate 😂
Honestly they were very tasty!

Yes it was very sunny and the snow made everything look quite pretty too

Spent the day exploring towns in Denmark! Briefly seeing Copenhagen then going to Helsingør and Hillerød via Gilleleje, it was very sunny and I think I caught the sun a bit 😅😂

Huh what a weird coincidence, we weren’t far from you guys!
