Si eres amable con alguien e incluso le ayudas con algo y ni te lo agradece, es SU PROBLEMA. No eres tonta por hacer algo bueno. Como también decir "buenos días" y no recibir respuesta. O hacer un favor y que se aprovechen de ti. Aprendes a poner límites pero no a ceder a la mala educación.

Hoy cumple su primer año el naranjón (que en vez de maullar trina como un pajarito) y hace una semana los cumplió ella. Más les vale vivir al menos ochenta y cinco años más.

Eso ya es adorable, pero tengo más: es con sus muelles (sus juguetes favoritos) cuando más tiene que contar. Los persigue por la casa, los lanza y los caza, y les habla. ¿Por qué lo hará?

Cuando mi gatita llegó a casa, casi pensamos que no sabía maullar. Ahora, quizás porque nosotros no paramos de parlotear con ella, se ha vuelto toda una cotorrilla. Maúlla cuando se te sube encima, cuando te echa de menos y cuando se va a subir a un sitio alto (para darse ánimos, supongo).

Lo cual me recuerda que mi padre escribió en su eterna libreta de recetas una que empezaba por:

- Se coge una cebolla, se pica y se aparta.

Y al final de la receta, en lugar de tacharlo, ponía:

- Perdón. La cebolla es para otra receta.

Cada vez... todas y cada una de las veces que hacía la...
