We do feelings with annoying levels of nuance, basically. So much relies on the tone and context within which these statements are made. These days, anyway. There used to be so many more options for expressing different kinds of affections, sigh.

Well. Haha. I mean. There is the platonic “I love you” between, say, parent and child. And then the non-platonic “I love you” between, say, ppl who are dating.

But then the “I like you” that is friendship, I think you’re cool and we’re pals. Versus the “I LIKE-like” you that is romantic love lite™️

I mean. We also have I love you, but it… yeah. Special circumstances, boxes to be ticked, levels of commitment, etc etc lmao sigh. God forbid you look like you’re overcommitting or in too deep!

Have just been using this one recently! It works really well (with the caveat that the lists cannot cope with non-English lmao, at least on my computer, but the downloads are great, and the lists still function *enough*).

Remember to make art with your boner. It doesn't have to be a horny boner, it can be a brain boner or a heart boner. Make art that makes you happy and appeals to your own freakish sensibilities. This is imperative.
