bagel shop girl wearing a SP shirt - the cover of Mellon Collie & I told her I liked it. Then I told her I saw that tour & she asked which tour? I said ‘the Mellon Collie tour - it was cool’ she said that was the coolest ever and I should tell everyone. feelin cool being so old rn 💅

watched man on the run last night - I liked it :) can’t believe critics thought Ram was bad when it was first released though. like come the fuck onnnnn ????
listening to abbey road and ‘something’ remains one of my fav love songs of all time. It’s the vulnerability in the lyrics ‘you’re asking me will my love grow? I don’t know, I don’t know.‘ straight to the heart, George ❤️ bc honestly how can u ever really know? It’s truly a complicated ask
got a hankering for Irish wood flute music this AM also deffff playing Bob James’ beautiful jazzy version of ‘Women of Ireland’ today on my show tune innnn 💚
revisiting The Big Country off of the name of this band is talking heads. a literal work of art. The first time I understood the song I was 25 and had just moved to pdx. (i checked the cd out from the library). I was like ‘how do they know my frame of mind in this instant?’ it was and still is magic

Ryley Walker was short, but sweet
organizing selections for gallery hours at Mono Space and I’m so excited, it’s like a dream to have the opportunity to listen to these albums on such a high quality sound system with other living, breathing humans. this is the good stuff of life right? sharing art with art enthusiasts ❤️

just bought a ticket to see Ryley Walker on Jan 19, only the second time I’ve seen him perform - stoke level at an ALL TIME HIGH 🤙🏼
there's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line and the less I seek my source for some definitive, the closer i am to fine 🖤

My favorite song right now is Club Tropicana by Wham! - it’s like a 4 min 25 sec mini vacay 🌴

Here’s my bb:
What a cutie!!!!!🥰
also this album is a delight✨
thinking about Eckhart Tolle and the death of ego on this moody Saturday morning. which is good because even just thinking about it, bringing awareness to it moves towards transcendence - this quote by Bikramjit Konwar really sums it up: ‘Ego and acceptance are two opposite ways’ which do u choose?

Meg is one of the best people I've ever worked with in my whole career, and we're fighting for a fair livelihood to keep making radio for you all. What's weird is we're growing and successful, so this fight shouldn't exist. We deserve a fair contract for this substantive (and sustainable) work.
SML’s new album is extra tasty - comes out soon, but I got a lil preview 🙃
I like thinking about deserted island albums … Voodoo is high on the list. I feel like you can eat coconuts everyday for the rest of your life and be fine with it as long as you still have daily access to D’Angelo covering ‘Feel Like Makin’ Love’ sounds really fkn nice right about now honestly.
Awww, well said 💕 congratulations!
