It really helps in minimising the chances of mistakes, and allows the artist to realise the ideas you envisioned accurately

Even simple stick figures can bring great artworks to life

I can’t speak for artists like @tealion.bsky.social, but as a commissioner, sharing even a rough sketch helps get my vision across. For more complex comms, I’ll add a small mood board with references.

Seeing that finger-drawn iPad sketch turn into a professional artwork is honestly magical.
