I still hate how quoted posts on bsky and twitter are arranged in a way that force you to read bottom-to-top if you want to read them in order. I can definitely "fix" it myself with some CSS, but obviously it doesn't help when it comes to images of other quotes get quoted

they might also be able to imprint on their "eye objects" and use them to see without having to be in their head, although I'm not sure what purpose that would serve yet in my art

my cryptids are able to see with empty eye-sockets, so I consider physical eyes to be more like "glasses" to them
the glow idea came up when I was trying to figure out how they'd make expressions without moving their rigid face (head position also helps, like theatre masks)
