“[Trump's] detached from reality, he’s deranged. He’s a narcissistic sociopath. He’s flailing, he’s floundering. He’s screwed up this war, he’s screwed up the economy. His poll numbers are dropping to the low 30's. He can’t take the blame so he wants to start chopping away at the people around him.”

Trickle down economics is a hoax.
This t-shirt is not.
Get yours today and help me spread the word about this economic myth. https://bit.ly/4v94gzU
Lots of online chatter about Trump being at Walter Reed — but as of now, zero confirmation from any credible outlet. It may just be social media speculation doing its thing again. We shall see.

First tariffs and now an Iran War tax. Trump’s hasn’t found an option that makes America more unaffordable that he hasn’t said “yes” to.
That this government has 35%-40% approval is why I will never take any Republican seriously for the rest of my life. Y’all are clowns. 🤡
The Trump administration has announced that the US will rewrite past climate reports, in a clear attempt to erase scientific history and undermine the consensus on human-caused climate change.
The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
Good night. Happy Friday. Here’s a bird that is a whole sound department.
“Get your brains together, get educated and get a trade.”
The Greatest - MUHAMMAD ALI - tells Dick Cavett in 1974 that he & Joe Frazier were special, rare, but the way to really ‘win’ is to get learning and get a career.

The great LILY TOMLIN talks about working with RICHARD PRYOR on the iconic “Juke and Opal” piece for her TV special ‘The Lily Tomlin Show’ in 1973.
Pryor once said of Tomlin - “We are soul mates.”
This Day in Labor History: April 4, 1968. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated by James Earl Ray while in Memphis to support a strike by the city’s sanitation workers. Let's talk about King's struggle for worker justice at the end of his sadly too short life!
As Maureen Dowd says to Trump’s next AG: “Trying to keep up with his whims, his revenge plots, his insatiable need for slobbering praise, his disdain for the law, will always be a losing battle.”

They might as well just go ahead and say it - Congress clearly has no intention of exercising its authority

In a big win, we secured a court order to block the Trump administration's demand for student data from colleges.
Students shouldn't live in fear that their data will be turned over for a crusade against DEI.
As our lawsuit continues, I'll keep fighting to stop this mandate.
Okay so here’s my actual Bluesky-is-dying hypothesis:
The entire web is dying. Users aren’t going from BlueSky to another site (x/insta/threada/tiktok). Users are going to chatbots.
I know traffic to news sites has cratered (like 90%). My hunch is traffic to all the social platforms is down too.
The President starts a war with Iran.
Now, his family looks to profit from it.
The corruption is enough to make you sick.
Someone needs to tell the American people what's going on in the Pentagon, and it obviously won't be Pete Hegseth, who is at war with America's senior military officers. My latest:

"You look amazing, you look beautiful," Artemis II pilot Victor Glover, the first Black man to journey around the moon, said about seeing us from afar.

A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)
More context on this #Artemis II image:
* This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right
* The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon:
