(and if they would have put the rag in the bed, and the bed where the rag was, the cat may have slept there. Just saying.)

The bit in Stuart Little where the cat complained about sleeping on a rag on the floor was clearly not written by someone that owns cats.

A cat will sleep ANYWHERE if it looks enticing. I've seen cats sleep in the middle of the floor, on door mats, on newspapers, ect.
