Okay, sleeping on it helped some. There's ways to do this that aren't 20 seasons of Iron Chef or Hot Ones (no shade, I love both, but that feels too common for Iron Viz).

I hope I'm not alone in feeling deflated at the theme for this year's Tableau #IronViz. I was so pumped for it, but this seems... boring. Please someone in the #DataFam tell me I'm not alone.

We hope you enjoy it (especially the Lucky Goat)! It was such a pleasure to meet all of you at the Con, you were all so genuine and kind!

It's hard to put exactly into words how impactful that decision was. With how chaotic the day had been, being told "take your time and have some fun" immediately changed everything about the day, and ultimately the whole Convention.

So thank you Gavin, and everyone else who had a hand in the event.
