the more i familiarise myself with OG Arknights the more baffling Endfield becomes why are they letting it keep being this bad...

one of my unrealistic 8.0 hopes is that they add animation sets you can choose from in character creation that are shared across races

the only remotely realistic way to address this would be to try and recreate them on models with tails, which... i *might* be able to get close to their proportions with C+ and bustomize, but involved head transplants are not a skill i posses i was lucky Basilissa's didn't need any fixing ojdfhkm...

the tragic thing about Atropotsiron, Pistis and Basilissa is that all three are only really playable in a very narrow sense (basically just idling, running and jumping around and combat)... you can't (immersively) do story as them on account of their mismatched animations and t-posing tails...

unfortunately because i've been out of it so long my confidence in my ability to bullshit about character relationships and dynamics is at an all-time low. the truth is i don't know anything about anything...

none of this would've happened if they'd just put a dragon girl in nightreign, blame fromsoft

keeping her in (probably self-imposed) isolation seems about the closest thing to lore compliant (and true to her inspirations, too) i can do with her, i think... maybe involving her even in side content is pushing it, actually...

one idea i had was to stick her at the top of Heaven-on-High for Ysayle, Heustienne and Orn Khai to meet (after climbing it for... some reason? just to get stronger? maybe they were told a dragon lived at the top and Orn Khai got his hopes up?) and possibly drag into their subsequent adventures...?

in hindsight i wish i'd spent a bit more time working on Pistis' weapon it kind of did end up absurdly huge fdhij...
