Couple transport with land use.
Collaborate across disciplines.

Vibrancy, connection, resilience. This is what good transport AND land use planning brings to communties.

Fabulous day again! Thanks to all involved.

What are the projects we really need to do, what is the change we really need to see?
We have real issues that can't be solved without good transport infrastructure as support. No more bullsh*t.

Residual thoughts from yesterday's #transportcamp - 'safety' has been a great issue to promote transport changes in the past, but at this juncture in time I don't think we want to tie the future of transport planning to narratives of fear.

Notecards all about storytelling

Notecards all about storytelling

Great #TransportCamp session asking, “what skills do transport planners need?” The overwhelming answer was storytelling and how to influence. The technical skills are “easy”. The people skills are “hard”.

We don't need a more competent, less embarrassing Zionist in this special envoy role. Because the role is to quash opposition to a genocide. Scrap the whole authoritarian project completely, and then, if you want, appoint First Nations elders as an all-forms anti-racism envoy

Just came here to thank you for doing this and for you and your teams journalism in general.
It is maddening to read/listen/watch almost everything else in Australian media right now. If I/any of us manage to get through this with our sanity intact, it will be bc of journalists like you. 🙏

John Frederiksen's tanker company confirms to Dagens Næringsliv that one of their ships, "Front Eagle", was involved in the collision.

The oil tanker Adalynn was also involved in the collision, the United Arab Emirates Coast Guard confirms, Khaaleej Times and Gulf News report.

24 people were evacuated from the ship, the Coast Guard said.

The incident is not said to be related to the unrest in the area.

45 people reportedly killed while waiting for aid in Gaza
Published at09:23 inThe Israeli-Palestinian conflict
At least 45 Palestinians are reported to have been killed in Khan Younis while waiting for trucks carrying relief supplies. Many are also reported to have been injured.

This is reported by Reuters, citing Palestinian health officials.

Medical personnel told Reuters that witnesses claimed Israeli tanks were firing into the crowd. They expect the death toll to rise as many are critically injured.

Pictures show the dead and wounded being transported to Nasser Hospital, where large, angry crowds have also gathered.

The Israeli military has not yet commented on the incident.

Also on Monday, dozens of Palestinians were reported killed during the distribution of emergency aid.

Israel hasn't stopped gunning down the Palestinians they're starving, as those Palestinians try to feed themselves

There is nothing wrong with continuing to say it: these are war crimes, this is genocide, this is murder. It must be stopped, and those perpetrating the crimes must be held accountable

Further, the LNPs unfettered support for Israel did them NO favours.

Close the embassy. Recall our Ambassador.

Do. SOMETHING.

The ALP won bc the primary vote for Greens and Independents increased and the primary vote for the LNP collapsed and the ALP collected ALL the preferences.

THERE WAS NO MANDATE.

Certainly not when it came to allowing a genocide to continue without consequence.

A fun little tip for men. If you know that you have a haircut coming up then let the beard grow out a bit too so you can shave it off and stare into the mirror afterwards, pretending you're an undercover cop/spy coming in from the cold after a mission you lost your sense of self in.

Truly I think if more convict descendants would recognise the grief of their own displacement, the trauma of becoming the coloniser, the fact we've been denied any opportunity process the tragedy of it all ...
I think could have a better, more generous nation.
