Attention everyone; I am thinking about my furry OCs again
He's friendly and he likes helping and meeting new people and hanging out with them but most folks in his life aren't even his friends, they're acquaintances to him. Really other than Gheist, Zai and Sammy, he's not strongly attached to anyone and attachment doesn't come easy for him at all
So this is an interesting question for Tari because at first glance it looks like he gets attached easily. He's really open and friendly and will go out of his way for people he barely knows, but actual attachment? REALLY hard to come by. He doesn't let people in and he doesn't trust easy
I made my furry headworld with the intention of not having any set hard rules I need to follow but everytime I run into a worldbuilding question by first instinct is to make rules anyway

I ADORE the shinigami, I've said it before that I know the big focus of the story is the back and forth between L and Light but I really wish we had gotten a bit more of Ryuk and the other shinigami too because they're the whole reason I wanted to watch it in the first place 😭
Every now and then I get the urge to finish watching Death Note but then I remember how unbearable Light and L are separately and how much worse they get when they're in the same room and I decide to just rotate Ryuk in my brain for a few minutes instead
The catch is that humans don't exist in their world anymore. But at some point before humans disappeared both harpies and mimic bugs evolved to lure and eat them. Now humans have been gone a while and the only things left to remember them by are the creatures that evolved to prey on them
Rachis and Luna are both examples of me pulling Some Bullshit to justify their designs
With Rachis I just call her a harpy and move on, she's a few different birds in a human-shaped trenchcoat so it works
And for Luna I created a whole species of bugs that mimic humans specifically to eat them
He's a moth but he doesn't really look like one, he looks more like if someone tried designing a bug-themed elf or something like that. And I've seen some really beautiful and cute moth anthros and I'd love to replicate that but actual moth faces don't really work with his design 😭😭
A few of my furry OCs started out as Undertale OCs which means I didn't design them to be 1:1 with IRL animals, which is fine for characters like Rust bc he was always just a deer creature and that's easy to translate
But then we get to Luna and with him I have to pull Some Bullshit

I became an expert at stylizing bear features because of Lilibel but now she's a jaguar so I have to learn how to stylize jaguar features and I'm realizing big cats are a lot boxier than I thought they'd be
