Funny how quickly the mask slips for these far right chancers.

Losing the rag and starting with the threats, all because some fella doesn't want to shake his hand.

Always pleasing to see these clowns embarrassing themselves.

Strongly recommend this excellent, well-researched piece by Sam Bright on Farage’s highly murky funding and networks. Farage is the grifter’s grifter.

"Farage seems to deeply dislike modern Britain – to the extent that he wants to remake it in the image of his favourite foreign autocracies."

Watch as Nigel Farage heckled in Shetland on campaign visit NIGEL Farage has been heckled in Shetland and branded a "scrounger" while on a campaign visit

Farage getting back on his Private Plane with relief, I reckon

'Farage can be heard saying: "Well, maybe we need some more people in politics to make money. How about that?" A man is seen responding: "More billionaires in politics? That's your idea, more billionaires, scroungers like yourself? "

2026 World Cup Climate Impact: Emissions, Aramco Sponsorship and Heat Risks Key facts on the 2026 World Cup climate impact, including emissions, expanded travel, Aramco sponsorship and rising heat risks for players and fans.

Petrostate Saudi Arabia has in recent years shown a huge interest in the sports.

And their majority state-owned oil company’s deal with FIFA is another tactic to launder their polluting image on a global stage.

Orbán’s pay cheques: Reform candidate fuelled by profits from Russian oil The Reform candidate at this month’s byelection claims he wants to put Britain first, but is he still on the payroll of Viktor Orbán’s far-right propaganda unit?

Thinking this morning that right-wing WhatsApp groups are finding reasons to tell each other it’s not as bad as it looks, that this is a minor set back, and they will regroup and come back stronger.

We need to remember that a progressive movement’s work is never done.

Just stood there crying like a baby for a while.

One of the greatest endings to a game of football I've ever seen. Absolute chaos and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Scotland have qualified for a World Cup for the first time in my lifetime.

Heroes, every one of them. Over and out.

Exactly this. It shouldn't be the responsibility of part-time lower eague sides to bear the brunt of Premiership teams inability to develop their own players.

Just release them and let them find their level or loan them out to the very clubs you're making them play 6 pointless friendlies against.

Disappointing to see how commonplace the use of phrases like "fighting aged males" has become.

That phrase isn't used in any other context, and certainly not when describing white British males.

Using "fighting age" instead of "working age" is so obviously part of the fascist 'invasion' rhetoric.

It's not asylum seekers who jack up rents, undermine the NHS, hold down wages and keep people insecure.
It's capital.
The role of the far right is to shift the blame for decades of economic attacks by the rich and powerful onto powerless people who have only just arrived here.

Why, you might ask, do the BBC and Sky News, casting their editorial guidelines to the wind, keep giving massive airtime to the far right, while shutting out leftwing voices? Don't their bosses understand the likely consequences?
Only one explanation now remains.
They do.
And it is what they want.

Genuinely brilliant to see more success for Scottish footballers in the top leagues. Last week or two has seen:

Andy Robertson picking up his second Premier League title.

Lewis Ferguson captaining Bologna to a Coppa Italia.

Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour winning the Scudetto.

Good to see Maitlis doing some proper journalism and actually holding people to account for their rhetoric on this type of thing.

Too often these kind of views (that are not based in any kind of fact) go completely unchecked when spouted by the far right.

Perhaps, it's the wall-to-wall TV coverage the media give him and his cronies?

A consistent platform to cultivate the image of the pint swilling English hero, without any challenge to his politics and dangerous party rhetoric.

This is a man that lost 7 elections, yet still fills our screens daily.

Entirely predictable but very depressing.

Starmer has been telling all of us for a long time that his dad was a tool maker.

He certainly was.

Why does Starmer's Labour Party seem determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Because it hates the left more than it fears the far right.
As a result it won't do the "left" things so many of its potential supporters are crying out for.

Labour is handing this country on a silver platter to Reform. People do not vote Labour because they hate immigrants and want Reform-lite. They vote Labour because they want it to make a positive difference to their lives.
