Which burned down the original village, I'm also debating if I want to create an original name for the village or if it has (presumably) been lost after the fire, before it was rebuilt/renamed in 1509.
Any thoughts would be wonderful, thank you!

I do have a character with the Surname Miyamori (宮森), which is connected to the area's religion, as Mori means "Forest"; the village is also near a mountain with underground tunnels, which are also connected to ancient rites once practiced before being wiped out after a fire/2

So, while editing my book Mansion of Dolls, I'm stuck on renaming the village where the story takes place. I've narrowed it down to 2, but I'm unsure which one, and could use some opinions:
Kūdōyama – meaning Hollow Mountain 空洞山
Kūdōmori – meaning Hollow Forest 空洞森
